Terms of Service
Who we are
ArchStage is developed and sold by M2GL SOLUTIONS, a company based in the European Union. References to "we", "us", or "ArchStage" in these Terms refer to M2GL SOLUTIONS.
For questions about these Terms, contact: support@archstage.app
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using ArchStage, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use ArchStage.
2. License grant
2.1 What you get
Upon purchase, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use ArchStage on one (1) computer at a time.
Your license includes:
- Full access to all features of the ArchStage version you purchased
- All updates released within the same major version (e.g., all v2.x updates are included with a v2 license)
- The right to deactivate your license and reactivate it on a different machine (one machine at a time)
2.2 What you don't get
Your license does not include:
- The right to install on more than one machine simultaneously
- Access to future major versions (e.g., v3) without a separate purchase or upgrade license
- The right to sublicense, resell, rent, or transfer the license to another person
- Any rights to the ArchStage source code
2.3 Trial license
The free 7-day trial grants you full access to ArchStage for evaluation purposes only. The trial is limited to one trial period per machine.
3. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble ArchStage except where permitted by applicable law
- Remove or alter any license validation mechanisms
- Attempt to circumvent the trial period or activation system
- Use ArchStage to build a product that competes directly with ArchStage using its own source code or architecture
- Distribute, sell, or sublicense ArchStage to third parties
4. Claude Code and Anthropic
ArchStage integrates with Claude Code CLI, which is a product of Anthropic. Using ArchStage requires a separate Claude Code installation and an Anthropic account, governed by Anthropic's own Terms of Service.
We are not affiliated with Anthropic. We are not responsible for:
- The availability of Claude Code or Anthropic's services
- The outputs generated by Claude Code
- Any costs you incur through your Anthropic account
- Any changes Anthropic makes to Claude Code that affect ArchStage's functionality
5. Payment and refunds
5.1 Payment
All payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd.), our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, VAT collection, invoicing, and payment compliance on our behalf. Prices include applicable taxes where required.
5.2 Refund policy
We offer a 7-day free trial with no credit card required, giving you full access to evaluate ArchStage before purchasing.
Because Paddle acts as Merchant of Record, all refunds are governed by Paddle's Refund Policy. Unless required by applicable law, all transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Paddle may issue a refund at its sole discretion if a request is submitted within 14 days of your transaction date. Submission of a request within this period does not guarantee a refund. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis; Paddle may approve a refund in full, approve a partial refund, or decline the request.
To request a refund, visit paddle.net and select the "Request refund" option, or use the "View receipt" link in your transaction confirmation email.
5.3 Statutory withdrawal rights
If local consumer protection laws grant you unconditional withdrawal rights, those rights apply and are not affected by this policy. In particular:
- EU / EEA / Switzerland / UK: Consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from digital content and service contracts. This right does not apply to digital content that you have started to download, stream, or otherwise use when you have given express consent to waive the right of withdrawal.
- South Korea / Brazil / China / Canada: Consumers have a 7-day unconditional right to cancel after delivery.
- Singapore: Consumers have a 5-day unconditional right to cancel after delivery or first access.
Where you have a statutory right to a refund, nothing in these Terms or Paddle's policy limits that right. Paddle will issue refunds in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.
6. Updates and future versions
We will release updates to ArchStage v2 as we see fit. We have no obligation to release any specific feature or update on any specific schedule.
When a new major version (e.g., v3) is released, existing license holders will be offered an upgrade at a discounted price. The v2 license does not entitle you to v3 or future major versions at no cost.
We reserve the right to discontinue ArchStage with reasonable notice. If ArchStage is discontinued, your existing license will continue to work for as long as the software functions on your system — we will not remotely disable it.
7. Intellectual property
ArchStage, its design, code, and all associated materials are the intellectual property of the developer. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
Your project files, documents, and any content you create using ArchStage remain entirely yours. We claim no rights over your work.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
ArchStage is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- ArchStage will be error-free or uninterrupted
- ArchStage will be compatible with all systems or future OS versions
- The outputs generated by Claude Code via ArchStage will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of ArchStage.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of ArchStage shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license.
Note for EU consumers: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable EU consumer protection law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the member state in which we are established, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of our place of establishment.
EU Online Dispute Resolution: The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr which EU consumers may use for resolving disputes with EU-based traders.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email (if we have your address) or via a notice in the app. Continued use of ArchStage after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
